Denholm Primary School was a unique design and build project showcasing architectural presence and status.
As part of a program where sustainability was fundamental to the design, Hacel Lighting assisted in the provision of lighting products to ensure the best possible outcome. A creative and safe environment for learning was a key attribute to the primary school, with lighting playing a pivotal role. The lighting design, created by Hacel, provided a system which varied throughout the building, giving the teachers and students greater control over light levels. In keeping with a sustainable program, main areas within the school such as classrooms and staff room areas were fitted with time activated sensors to switch off whenever no movement was detected and where possible, low energy lighting was used.
